Course Description

Graphic Design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. The designer works with a variety of communications tools in order to visually convey a message for a client’s product or service to a particular target audience. This course will give students a foundation in Graphic Design by introducing them to the various aspects of the Graphic Design field. It involves a lot of Logical thinking, Creative Problem Solving, Science, Arts, Psychology, and most of all Fun. The students will be given tools necessary to create their own designs from the ground up.
After our hands on lesson, students will have the knowledge of creating logos, business cards, flyers, book covers, labels, billboard design, banners, stickers and advertisement designs that will educate them to interact with a visual element. They will be introduced to the basic design principles and processes that must be followed in order to successfully complete projects that meet specific criteria
