Young Inventors Summer Camp 2015. 21st Century technology skills training for secondary school students during the holidays!
At Center4Tech we believe that every Nigerian child can be an Inventor. To this end, Center4Tech will be making a presentation to Parents and Teachers during her forth-coming PTA meeting slated for June 1, 2015. This presentation is aimed at letting parents know the leadership role played by Center4Tech in stimulating technology in Nigeria via In-School Tech classes, Tech Summer Camp and Tech Easter Camp. The overall objective is to encourage parents to enroll their children in such programmes with Center4Tech.
Center4Tech will participate in this years' Children's Day Carnival organised by Inspiration FM. During this event, Center4Tech will showcase projects done by secondary school students during the last Summer Camp and Easter Camp. We encourage parents and kids to visit our stand as they will have the privilege to play mobile games which were made by secondary school students.
Center4Tech has been invited by the management of Kings College, Lagos to showcase her products and services during her 2015 Science Week slated to hold on May 14, 2015. At this event, Center4Tech will showcase different projects done by secondary school students (including projects by Kings College students) who participated in our previous Summer Camps and Easter Camps. Our main aim is to let the young students of Kings College know that they too can conceive, design and build real life circuits powered by microcontrollers and also write computer programmes (develop softwares) by creating mobile games. We look forward to seeing you there.
The Center4Tech Team has been invited by the students of Electronics and Electrical Engineering department of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife to deliver a lecture Tagged "Smart City - The role of transportation and Environmental Health". The event is scheduled to take place on March 20, 2015 and it is part of a week long IEEE week.
Center4tech shall be visiting Vivian Fowler Memorial College on Friday, March 20th, 2015 to give a tech talk to young and intelligent girls of the school and to inspire them to be Inventors of technology.
Center4Tech will be visiting Babcock University Computer Science Club during their departmental week which is slated to take place Wednesday, February 11th, 2015. The aim of the visit is to let students know the enormous potential that are there for computer science students far beyond only designing websites.
