Mobile App Design and Coding

App design is one of the most challenging and creative processes around. It involves a lot of Logical thinking, Creative Problem Solving, Computer Science, Arts, Sound, Psychology, and most of all Fun. The students will be given the tools necessary to create their own games from the ground up and also port their games to Android Mobile devices. Students can further develop their games into full-featured games and upload them to an App Store.

• Programming with App Inventor & Android Studio
• Design and prototype an Android mobile app

Requirements

• Ability to use a computer is essential.
• Ability to navigate websites
• Course is to open to Science, Business and Arts Students
• 8 -13 years- will work with MIT App Inventor Programming Software
• 14 -17 years- will work with Android Studio Programming Software
• Students should come with their laptops
